I have been photographing this little cutie since before she was born :) We did her parents maternity session and her newborn pictures at this same location. I love watching my little clients grow! She will be celebrating her first birthday this month...she is just too cute!

This little guy didn't want to go to sleep at first...I am glad he didn't :) While momma was rocking him to sleep I saw this old tire in the backyard and I knew I just had to use it. I asked dad if the tire was pretty gross and he replied nope, I will clean it up for you and throw it in your trunk if you want it. I then told him what I wanted to do and he gave me a weird look and said your the photographer I will let you do your thing...I am so glad they did!

I woke up this morning and it hit me...my little girl starts kindergarten next week. I knew this day was coming but I didn't know how hard it was going to be for me. She is my little best friend, my shadow...my mini me. We do everything together...I know that she is ready but man I don't think I am. I am trying to keep my tears to myself...

When I saw this dress, I fell in love with it. I have had it for some time now waiting for the right person to wear it....I think it was a perfect fit for my niece who was down visiting from Washington for the summer. I miss you Mimi and cannot wait to have you again next summer!
