Kaleb turns one! | Murrieta Childrens and Family Photographer

Last year I got to photograph this dreamy blue eyed boy in this same spot with "Lenny" the VW bus for his newborn pictures. It's hard to believe that he is already one! I am so excited that Mom and Dad want to continue on with this little tradition that we started and do it every year. Lenny got a makeover and looks so handsome with his new looks :) To view Kaleb's newborn pictures click here.

My little Valentine...| Fallbrook Childrens Photographer

I have been one terrible blogger...I will admit it, it's just not my thing. I really wish it was :)

This year my little ladybug not only is turning 8 but she will become a big sister! As she says "Her wish finally came true". If you would like to check out the video, I have it posted on my Facebook page. Click here to see it.

I am so blessed to have such a beautiful sweet girl with a big heart...

Baby Kaleb and Lenny :) | Outdoor Newborn Session

When I got the phone call from the "D" family for newborn pictures I was so excited! They happened to live down the street from my parents and every time I drove by I would see "Lenny" and he was begging me to be in a photo session :)

A new year

Well it has been quite some time since I last blogged....way to long...is anyone still out there :)  I was so fortunate to have an incredible Holiday Season and New Year. I was super busy and was blessed to get to photograph so many of you. Thank you all so much for all the love and support I get from each of you...means more than you could ever know!

To kick things off I want to show you all a shoot that I did with my close friend, Mandy. We did a shoot back in 2010 (which you can see here) and I was excited to photograph her again. She has worked in fashion and is a fashion blogger who is always up for anything. It is always exciting to see your friends grow and I definitely saw Mandy's growth and confidence through this shoot. I loved that we had a chance to collaborate on her looks beforehand...her blog readers chose her outfits! So fun!!
Here is my beautiful friend...

"Give said the Little Stream...I am small I know but wherever I go the fields grow greener still." - LDS Children's primary song

Can you really believe it is November 1st today. It's hard to believe that Christmas is only 53 days away (eek I need to do some shopping) and that 2012 is right around the corner. The past 10 months has been a busy one for me...no complaining! I have loved every second of it! I hope that next year is just as busy and fun!

I really would just like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last few years. I look back on how far I have come and how many tears I have shed along the way. I really can not express how blessed I feel to do what I do. As I type this I am overwhelmed with tears...to be able to capture a single moment and to have it forever. A picture that remains here long after one is gone. I couldn't imagine a better gift to give someone...

I would love to give this gift to a local family in need...someone who has overcome great odds, a love one dealing with a sickness, anyone that may be struggling to stay afloat. If you know someone please email me at houxfamily@gmail.com with the subject being "giving" and please tell me their story. All emails must be in by December 1st so I can choose the family in need, I will be contacting them by December 10th to coordinate a session with them.
